Chris Foster, ARNP

Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, later earning his master’s degree in nursing education from Western Governors University and completing his doctorate degree in nursing from Walden University. Throughout this time, Chris worked as an Inpatient Cardiology Triage Nurse at MercyOne Iowa Heart Center in Des Moines.

Now a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology, Chris will see patients at MercyOne Iowa Heart Center locations in both Webster City and Ames. His clinical interests include coronary artery disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation and cardiomyopathy. Chris will be on site two days each week at VDMC, beginning this week.
